The Newest Hotel In Town—Opened in 1890

The Celtic Cowboy in Great Falls, already the best joint in town for dinner and drinks, decided to up the ante by opening the best hotel around. The result was a floor-to-ceiling renovation of a building as old as Montana—and thoroughly brand-new.

Renovating the part of Great Falls’ historic Arvon Block not already occupied by the Celtic Cowboy Pub and Restaurant to create a one-of-a-kind boutique hotel was no easy task. But the results are no less than stunning—a vibrant mix of existing 1890s architecture, modern conveniences, and Western art make the Hotel Arvon a truly memorable place to stay.

Our branding for the hotel reflected this mix of heritage and contemporary comfort. The logo mark for the hotel features a distinctive monogram set into a traditional signage shingle. The simple, balanced design is applicable for any number of uses, including merchandise, apparel and printed work.

The Hotel Arvon signage featured prominently in our launch campaign, a mix of print, digital billboards, and online components designed to communicate the distinct charm and appeal of a hotel that’s most definitely not a chain.
